Paracetamol is a well-known painkiller (analgesic) and also reduces fever (antipyretic).
Phenylephrine hydrochloride (decongestant) reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa, relieves nasal congestion and reduces the pressure that can cause headaches.

Tantum Grip is intended for the relief of symptoms associated with colds and flu, including relief of mild to moderate pain, sore throat, headache, nasal congestion and fever. Use this medicine only when flu or cold symptoms are accompanied by nasal congestion. If you do not have a blocked nose, you should take a single-component product containing only paracetamol.

Tantum Grip is used for adults and adolescents from the age of 12 and a body weight of 40 kg. If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Intended use

Adults and adolescents from the age of 12 years and a body weight of 40 kg: The recommended dosage is 1 sachet up to 4 times a day as required with an interval of 4 to 6 hours between doses. The maximum daily dose of 4 sachets must not be exceeded within 24 hours.
Use in children and adolescents: This medicine must not be used in children under the age of 12 years or in adolescents weighing less than 40 kg
Route of administration: Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in a glass of hot or cold water (approx. 150 ml) and drink the solution.
Duration of use: If the symptoms of cold or flu have not improved or worsen after 3 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not take Tantum Grip for longer than 5 days.

Ingredients

The active ingredients are: Paracetamol 600 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg (equivalent to 8.2 mg phenylephrine).
The other ingredients are: Sucrose, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, maize starch, sodium cyclamate, saccharin sodium, ascorbic acid, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, lemon flavouring, turmeric powder 5 %, water dispersible (curcumin E 100 + dried glucose syrup).
