Seawater is known for its compatibility with human body cells and for its therapeutic effects.

The nasal administration of a formula made from 100% natural seawater has many benefits:

Seawater contains trace elements such as copper, manganese, sulphur, zinc and magnesium, which are essential for the growth and balance of the nasal mucosa.

Indications

Sterimar Nasal Congestion Baby Spray is a hypertonic seawater solution with a higher salt concentration than that of the human body’s cells, which clears the nose (‘osmotic effect’). The natural, preservative-free Sterimar seawater solution utilises the recognised properties of mineral salts and trace elements from the sea and is enriched with copper and manganese.

Recommended for babies from 3 months of age and children for:

Reducing swelling of the nasal mucosa
Supporting the treatment of colds by flushing out the nasal cavities

Directions for use

We recommend using STÉRIMAR Stuffy Nose Baby two to six times a day until the swelling in the nasal mucosa has subsided. Before first use, spray once into the air; the spray is then ready for use.
Spray: Keep the head upright and gently insert the spray nozzle into the nostril. Administer one or two short sprays into each nostril. Allow any excess solution to drain from the nose, then blow the nose.
As a nasal rinse: Lay the baby on their back (up to 2 years) or sit them up (from 2 years). Tilt the baby’s head to one side (never backwards) and carefully insert the spray nozzle into the upper nostril. Administer a longer spray. Allow any excess solution to drain from the other nostril, then blow the nose. Repeat the process in the other nostril if necessary. Clean the spray nozzle with hot water after each use. To prevent the spread of germs, each bottle should only ever be used by one person.

Ingredients

Composition: Seawater, copper salt pentahydrate, manganese salt monohydrate, purified water. Aseptically packaged. Inert propellant: nitrogen. The solution does not come into contact with nitrogen.
