How to use
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: apply a 4 cm long strand of gel to the chest, back and neck 2 to 3 times a day (always before going to bed), rub in gently and cover with a warm cloth.
- Children from 2 to 11 years: 2 to 3 times a day (always before going to bed), apply a 2 cm long strand of gel to the chest, back and neck, rub in gently and cover with a warm cloth.
- Children under 2 years of age: This medicine must not be used on infants and children under 2 years of age due to its camphor and menthol content (see section "Scottopect - Jelly must not be used").
- Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age: Melt a 2 to 4 cm long piece of gel in hot water and inhale the vapours through the nose and mouth.
- Children from 6 to 11 years: Melt a 2 cm piece of gel in hot water, allow the water to cool slightly and inhale the vapours through the nose and mouth.
- Children under 6 years of age: This medicine must not be used in infants and children under 2 years of age due to its camphor and menthol content (see section "Scottopect - Jelly must not be used"). Use for inhalation is not recommended in children under 6 years of age due to lack of data.
Ingredients
- The active ingredients in 1 g gel are: 0.06 g turpentine oil of the maritime pine type (Terebinthinae aetheroleum e pino pinastro), 0.03 g eucalyptus oil (Eucalypti aetheroleum), 0.02 g thyme oil of the thymol type (Thymi typo thymolo aetheroleum), 0.03 g levomenthol.
- The other ingredients are: D-camphor, octyldodecanol (eutanol G), macrogol glycerol ricinoleate (Cremophor EL), hydrogenated peanut oil, purified water, hydrochloric acid solution.
