Klosterfrau Thyme Icelandic Moss Cough Syrup for Children and Adolescents is effective for all types of cough. By combining the tried and tested Icelandic moss with thyme, Klosterfrau Thyme Icelandic Moss Cough Syrup not only soothes irritation but also has an expectorant effect. Klosterfrau Thyme Icelandic Moss Cough Syrup for Children and Adolescents is also characterised by its pleasant cherry flavour.

Indications

Klosterfrau Thyme Icelandic Moss Cough Syrup for Children and Adolescents is used to loosen mucus and relieve irritation in coughs associated with a cold. Ingredients: Icelandic moss is used to soothe the mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx. It forms a natural protective film on the mucous membrane and thus keeps irritation at bay. Among other things, thyme has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antispasmodic properties, which means it has a cough-relieving effect.

How to use

Children from 4 to 11 years: 10 ml 3 times a day.
Adolescents from 12 to 17 years: 15 ml 3 to 4 times a day.
Use in children: Use in children under 4 years of age is not recommended as medical advice should be sought.
Route of administration: Oral use.
Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredients are (per 100 ml = 126.3 g): 5 g thyme thick extract (DEV 2-4:1, extractant water), 1.1 g Iceland moss thick extract (DEV 3-7:1, extractant water).
The other ingredients are: Maltitol solution (E 965) (contains sorbitol (E 420)), potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate (E 211), cherry flavouring (contains propylene glycol (E 1520)), purified water.
