Gelo Myrtol® 120 mg capsules help you with acute respiratory tract infections, but also with chronic sinusitis and bronchitis. The special distillate contained in Gelo Myrtol® 120 mg capsules activates the natural cleansing mechanism in the respiratory tract. It dissolves thick mucus and stimulates the glands to produce thin secretions.
The cilia are activated and move much faster. The active ingredient contained in Gelo Myrtol® 120 mg capsules promotes the reduction of swelling in the mucous membrane. Inflammation is reduced and the mucous membrane can regenerate.

How to use
The recommended dose for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age is
- For acute inflammatory conditions 4 - 5 times daily 2 capsules.
- For chronicconditions, take 2 capsules 3 times a day. This dosage is alsorecommended forlong-term treatment.
To facilitate expectoration in the morning in chronic bronchitis,an additional 2 capsules can be taken in the eveningbefore going to bed.
Use in children
Age: 3-6 years 7-11 years
- Acute symptoms 3-4 times daily 1 capsule 4 times daily 1 or 3 timesdaily 2 capsules
- Chronic clinical pictures 2-3 times daily 1 capsule 3 times daily 1 or 2 timesdaily 2 capsules
Method of use
Oral use.
GeloMyrtol shouldbetaken half an hour before meals with plenty of liquid.The capsules must notbetaken with hot drinks or after a meal.To facilitate sleep, the last dose canbe takenbefore going to bed.Parents should ensure that the child does notbite the capsule.
The duration of treatment with GeloMyrtol depends on the symptoms.Long-term treatment is possibleforchronic respiratory diseases.
Ingredients
The active ingredient in 1 capsule is: 120 mg distillate from a mixture of rectified eucalyptus oil, rectified sweet orange oil, rectified myrtle oil andrectified lemon oil (66:32:1:1).
The other ingredients are Medium-chain triglycerides, gelatine, glycerol,sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallising), hydrochloric acid solution,hypromellose acetate succinate, triethyl citrate, sodium dodecyl sulphate, talc, dextrin,glycyrrhizic acid (ammonium salt), lecithin (vegetable) in traces
