LipoAerosol® throat spray with liposomes is suitable for direct application to the throat. Moisturising and soothing for hoarseness and significant fluctuations in the voice.

LipoAerosol® has been developed to moisturise the upper and lower respiratory tracts. The inhalation solution and throat spray support the natural moisturising film in cases of mucous membrane irritation and acute or chronic respiratory conditions. Phospholipids (lecithin) supplement the natural moisture film to protect the mucous membranes and support the respiratory tract’s self-cleansing mechanism.

Indications and clinical benefits

For the moisturisation of the upper and lower respiratory tracts (e.g. in cases of hoarseness or severe vocal strain).
To support the natural moisture film in cases of mucosal irritation and acute or chronic respiratory conditions.

Throat complaints such as hoarseness, a tickly cough or the urge to clear one’s throat are often caused by dry and irritated mucous membranes. Furthermore, pathogens find favourable conditions on dry and damaged mucous membranes.

When treating these symptoms, the primary focus is therefore on moisturising and caring for the mucous membranes in the throat. The spray system produces an aerosol that is suitable for use in the upper respiratory tract.

Simply spray LipoAerosol® Throat Spray directly into the throat and back of the throat several times a day as required.

Directions for use

As a throat spray:

Spray 2 to 4 times into the throat several times a day as required. To reach the larynx (e.g. in cases of hoarseness), inhale whilst pressing the spray.

As an inhalation solution:

Use the solution as required or as recommended by your doctor. Generally, 2 to 4 applications per day are recommended. Approximately 2 to 3 ml should be used for each inhalation.
LipoAerosol® is a ready-to-use inhalation solution. Do not combine with other medicines and/or inhalation solutions. In principle, LipoAerosol® can be used with a suitable nebuliser, i.e. a compressor jet nebuliser (compressed air), a diaphragm nebuliser or an ultrasonic nebuliser.
Please follow the device manufacturer’s instructions for use, in particular the recommendations regarding cleaning, disinfection, hygiene and maintenance. An overdose is not possible due to the nature of the application and the composition of the product.
