WICK DayMed Duo contains the active ingredients ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and pseudoephedrine, a vasoconstrictor used to treat swelling of the nasal mucosa.

Ibuprofen has a pain-relieving and antipyretic effect and reduces swelling.
Pseudoephedrine has a vasoconstrictive effect that reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa.

Indications

WICK DayMed Duo is used for the symptomatic treatment of swelling of the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses associated with headaches, fever and/or cold or flu-related pain.

WICK DayMed Duo is used in adults and adolescents over the age of 15.

Only use this combination medicine if you have both a blocked nose and pain or fever. If you only have one of these symptoms, do not use this medicine.

Dosage form

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents aged 15 years and over take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours if necessary. For more severe symptoms, take 2 tablets every 6-8 hours if necessary.

The maximum daily dose of 6 tablets must never be exceeded. Preferably take the tablets on a full stomach with a little water. Do not break or crushthe tablets .

Ingredients

The active ingredients are: Ibuprofen (200 mg per tablet) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (30 mg per tablet, corresponding to 24.6 mg pseudoephedrine).

The other ingredients are: Microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised starch (maize), povidone K-30, highly dispersed anhydrous silicon dioxide, stearic acid 95, croscarmellose sodium, sodium dodecyl sulphate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400, iron oxide yellow (E172), polysorbate 80 (E433), iron oxide red (E172), iron oxide black (E172), poly(vinyl alcohol) - partially hydrolysed, talcum (E172), sodium bicarbonate (E172). hydrolysed, talc (E553b), macrogol 3350, mica-based pearlescent pigment (mixture of: Potassium aluminium silicate (E555) [mica] and titanium dioxide [E171]).
