- Contains extracts of thyme and marshmallow: The ingredients of thyme support the expectoration of stuck, viscous mucus through their expectorant and bronchodilator properties. The essential oil of the thyme herb also has an antiseptic effect. The ingredients from the marshmallow root soothe irritation of the mucous membranes and reduce the urge to cough.
- Tastes pleasantly of thyme and raspberries - therefore particularly recommended for children! But adults also like the fruity flavour.

Active ingredients/effect
- Cough suppressant and cough reliever: When viruses and bacteria attack the bronchial tubes, the body reacts with an inflammatory response: the bronchial tubes produce more viscous secretions in order to get rid of the intruders by coughing. At the beginning of a cold, a dry, irritating cough prevents the sufferer from resting either during the day or at night. A cough suppressant can reduce the urge to cough at night. If phlegm is secreted after a few days, cough suppressants can make it easier to cough it up: they liquefy the phlegm so that it can be coughed up more easily. Some cough remedies from the pharmacy can be used both as cough expectorants and as cough relievers. Ask your pharmacist.
- Thyme: Thyme is not only an interesting aromatic plant, but also an important medicinal plant for coughs and disinfection. Its greatest strength lies in its positive effect on coughs. The ingredients in thyme help to cough up stuck, viscous mucus. The essential oil of the thyme herb, which is also contained in the dry extract, also has antiseptic properties.
- Marshmallow: Marshmallow belongs to the mallow family and has been a highly valued medicinal plant since ancient times. The ingredients from the marshmallow root soothe irritation of the mucous membranes and peripherally reduce the urge to cough. Areas of application: Inflammation of the mouth and throat and associated irritating coughs.
Dosage form
Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:10 ml every 3 hours up to 6 times a day; total daily dose up to 60 ml.
- Children aged 4-11 years:5 ml every 3 hours up to 6 times a day; total daily dose up to 30 ml.
- Use in children under 4 years of age: Use in children under 4 years of age is not recommended as there is insufficient data and medical advice should be sought.
Ingredients
- The active ingredients are: 5 ml (= 5.7 g) contain: 0.77 g thyme liquid extract (Thymi herba, drug-extract ratio (DEV) 1:2-2.5; extracting agent: mixture of ethanol 90% (v/v):ammonia solution 10%:Glycerol 85%:water for extraction purposes in the ratio 35:0.5:10:54.5) 0.66 g marshmallow root liquid extract (Althaeae radix, drug-extract ratio (DEV) 1:20, extractant water)
- The other ingredients are: raspberry juice concentrate (contains sucrose, glucose and fructose), ascorbic acid, ethanol, sucrose, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, purified water.
