- Lefax® intens is the highest-dose Lefax® product and is therefore particularly helpful for more severe symptoms. The area of application includes the relief and treatment of gas-related gastrointestinal complaints such as flatulence (meteorism), bloating, cramp-like abdominal pain or belching. It is also used in preparation for diagnostic examinations in the abdominal area, for example before an X-ray examination or endoscopy.
- Despite its high dosage of 250 milligrams per single dose, Lefax® intens is very well tolerated as it has a purely physical effect and is not absorbed by the body: The active ingredient simeticone dissolves the gas bubbles that form during digestion and cause the unpleasant discomfort. Free gas is produced, which is then excreted by the body.
- Lefax® intens liquid capsule - for all those who prefer a flavourless dosage form. Without colourings and flavourings.
- Lefax® intens Lemon Fresh is a fast-dissolving micro-granulate. It dissolves in the mouth in seconds and tastes pleasantly fresh like lemon. In the practical sachet, Lefax® intens Lemon Fresh can be taken without water and is therefore ideal for on the go.
Dosage form
How to use
- Single dose | 1 sachet (equivalent to 250 mg simeticone)
- Total daily dose | 4 sachets (corresponding to 1000 mg simeticone)
In preparation for imaging examinations (adults and adolescents aged 14 and over):
- the day before the examination | 1-2 sachets (corresponding to 250 to 500 mg simeticone)
- on the morning of the examination | 1 sachet (corresponding to 250 mg simeticone)
Ingredients
- Each sachet contains 250 mg simeticone.
- Other ingredients: Lemon flavour, malic acid, cream flavour, sorbitol, talc.
