Daflon 500 mg film-coated tablets, 60 ST

Daflon 500 mg relieves the symptoms of chronic venous disorders of the legs, in particular heaviness, pain and nocturnal calf cramps.

The substances contained in Daflon 500 mg film-coated tablets act on the large veins and the fine hair vessels. They reduce both the excessive elasticity and the pathologically increased permeability of the vascular walls for blood fluid. At the same time, the capacity of the veins to hold blood is reduced. This prevents the symptoms of congestion, such as a feeling of heaviness or pain in the legs or calf cramps occurring at night.

At the same time, complaints caused by haemorrhoids are also favourably influenced.

Indications

• Symptoms of chronic venous disorders of the legs, in particular heaviness, pain and nocturnal calf cramps.
• Complaints caused by haemorrhoids.

How to use

Always take Daflon 500 mg film-coated tablets exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

• The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet twice daily (morning and evening). Alternatively, 2 film-coated tablets can be taken once a day (morning or evening).
• In the case of acute haemorrhoidal complaints, a temporary increase to 2 x 2 to 3 film-coated tablets daily is possible.

The film-coated tablets are taken with meals, unchewed and with sufficient liquid.

Ingredients

• Active substance: 1 film-coated tablet contains 500 mg purified, micronised flavonoid fraction, consisting of 450 mg diosmin and 50 mg flavonoids, presented as hesperidin.
• The other ingredients are: Sodium starch glycolate, microcrystalline cellulose, gelatine, magnesium stearate, talc, glycerol, sodium lauryl sulphate, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol 6000, titanium dioxide (E 171), yellow iron oxide (E 172) and red iron oxide (E 172).
