Sperti Preparation H haemorrhoidal suppositories contain the active ingredients ethanolic brewer's yeast thick extract and shark liver oil and are used in adults with haemorrhoidal disorders.

Haemorrhoids are nodular enlargements of the veins in the anal area. They can occur inside or immediately outside the anus. Depending on their location, haemorrhoids cause bleeding (usually bright red blood on the stool), itching, burning and oozing as well as dull pressure and pain in the rectum.

Sperti Preparation H is an anti-inflammatory medicine for the treatment of haemorrhoidal disorders and shrinks haemorrhoids, relieves pain, burning, itching and stinging.

How to use

The recommended dose is

Adults: insert 1 suppository into the anus in the morning and evening and after each bowel movement.

For rectal use (for insertion into the anus).

First separate one suppository along the perforation.
Then carefully pull the two upper ends apart and remove the foil wrapping.
Insert the suppository into the anus as far as possible. It is best to lean forwards when doing this.

The treatment should not be interrupted immediately after the first symptoms of the disease have subsided, but should be continued for at least 5 days in order to rebuild the damaged skin tissue.

Ingredients

The active ingredients are Ethanolic brewer's yeast thick extract (skin respiratory factor 162 E) and shark liver oil (shark liver oil and fish oil in a 1:1 ratio). 1 suppository contains: Ethanolic brewer's yeast thick extract (skin respiratory factor 162 E) 23 mg, shark liver oil 69 mg.
The other ingredients are: Hard fat, Paracera M, cocoa butter, polyethylene glycol-600-dilaurate, glycerine.
