COLDAMARIS Throat Spray forms a protective barrier on the throat lining. The Carragelose® it contains physically coats cold viruses, thereby making it more difficult for them to attach to and multiply in the body.

COLDAMARIS Throat Spray with Carragelose® for the prevention and support of treatment for viral infections of the upper respiratory tract, as well as for the preventative and sustained moisturising of the mouth and throat mucous membranes. Contains natural Carragelose®, derived from red algae. It has a delicious cherry flavour and is sugar-free.

Coldamaris Throat Spray with Carragelose® contains the active ingredient iota-carrageenan (Carragelose®), derived from red algae, which has a twofold beneficial effect: Carragelose® non-specifically coats cold viruses and prevents them from adhering to the mucous membranes. This reduces the replication and spread of viruses responsible for respiratory tract infections. Carragelose® also stabilises the natural moisture film on the throat’s mucous membrane and ensures long-lasting hydration. The physiological moisture film thus promoted acts as a physical barrier against external influences and supports the body’s natural defence mechanisms.

COLDAMARIS Throat Spray helps with a dry throat and dry mouth

Coldamaris Throat Spray with Carragelose® is used as an adjunct to the treatment of viral infections of the upper respiratory tract; to moisturise the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, e.g. in dry indoor air, coughs or hoarseness; and for the prevention and supportive treatment of all symptoms resulting from dry or irritated oral and throat mucous membranes, such as those caused by smoking, prolonged speaking or singing. 

Coldamaris Throat Spray with Carragelose® is sugar-free and has a cherry flavour. The solution is sterile and contains no preservatives. Thanks to the special filter system, the solution remains sterile even after repeated use.

Directions for use

• Spray one or more puffs into the throat several times a day, as required. The product may be used over a longer period if necessary. Before first use, pump the bottle a few times until a uniform spray is produced. Hold the bottle as upright as possible whilst spraying, so that the nozzle is submerged in the liquid. 
• Suitable for use in children and adolescents aged 1 year and over, and adults.

1 ml of solution contains 1.2 mg iota-carrageenan (Carragelose®), sodium chloride, xylitol, cherry flavouring, buffer and purified water.
