The nose is the most common route of infection for viruses that cause colds. A moist nasal mucosa supports the body’s natural defences against viruses and bacteria. The Carragelose® contained in Coldamaris prophylactic forms a moisturising protective film on the nasal mucosa. This film acts as a physical barrier against external influences, such as the entry of cold viruses. This sustained moisturising effect can therefore help prevent the onset of a runny nose caused by common cold viruses. Carragelose® is a natural active ingredient derived from red algae.

In the case of an existing cold, Coldamaris prophylactic can shorten the duration of virus-related cold symptoms or alleviate them, and reduce the likelihood of a recurrence of these symptoms.

Coldamaris prophylactic is used to support the treatment of viral colds, as well as to provide sustained moisturisation of the nasal mucosa, thereby helping to prevent and alleviate all symptoms resulting from a dry or irritated nasal mucosa.

Coldamaris prophylactic is sterile and contains no preservatives. Thanks to the special filter system in the spray nozzle, the solution remains sterile even after repeated use.

Directions for use

If your nose is blocked, spray once into each nostril several times a day.
Before use, remove the protective cap and, if necessary, pump once or twice until a fine, even mist is released.
The Coldamaris nasal spray is now ready for use.
Insert the spray nozzle carefully and not too deeply into the nose to avoid injury. Hold the spray bottle upright whilst spraying.
Replace the protective cap after use.
Suitable for use in children and adolescents aged 1 year and over, and adults.
