The mucous membrane of the mouth and throat can only fulfil its natural function as a barrier against external influences if it is sufficiently moisturised. Coldamaris pastilles contain the active ingredient iota-carrageenan (Carragelose®) obtained from red algae. Carragelose® forms a moisturising protective film on the pharyngeal mucosa. The natural film of moisture that forms when the lozenge is sucked is also stabilised by the viscosity-increasing properties of Carragelose® and remains on the mucous membrane for longer.
Coldamaris pastilles are used to moisturise the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, e.g. in cases of dry air, coughing or hoarseness; for the prevention and supportive treatment of all complaints caused by dry or irritated mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, e.g. due to smoking, prolonged speaking or singing, and for adjunctive use in the treatment of viral infections of the upper respiratory tract.
Coldamaris pastilles are sugar-free and honey-flavoured.

How to use
- Suck one lozenge several times a day, depending on individual requirements, usually 3 - 6 lozenges a day.
- Suitable for use in children and adolescents from 6 years of age and adults.
