COLDAMARIS acute decongestant nasal spray, 20 ml

A typical symptom of a cold is a blocked nose, which is caused by swelling of the mucous membrane due to increased fluid retention. In patients with hay fever, an infection with cold viruses can lead to a worsening of allergic symptoms. These patients, too, can benefit from the multiple effects of Coldamaris akut: the hypertonic solution draws excess fluid from the tissue, allowing the nasal mucous membrane to reduce in swelling and making it easier to breathe freely. The Carragelose® it contains forms a protective film on the nasal mucosa. This film acts as a physical barrier against external influences, such as the entry of cold viruses. Carragelose® is a natural active ingredient derived from red algae.

In the case of an existing cold, Coldamaris akut can shorten or alleviate the duration of virus-induced cold symptoms and reduce the likelihood of a recurrence of these symptoms.

Coldamaris akut has a decongestant effect on a blocked nose, particularly in the case of viral flu-like infections, rhinitis (whether allergic or non-allergic), and sinusitis.

Coldamaris akut is hypertonic, sterile and contains no preservatives. Thanks to the spray nozzle’s special filter system, the solution remains sterile even after repeated use.

Directions for use

For a blocked nose, spray once into each nostril several times a day. Before use, remove the protective cap and, if necessary, pump the spray once until a uniform mist is released. The Coldamaris nasal spray is now ready for use. Insert the spray nozzle carefully and not too deeply into the nose to avoid injury. Hold the spray bottle upright whilst spraying. Replace the protective cap after use.

Suitable for use in children and adolescents aged 1 year and over, and adults.

Ingredients

COLDAMARIS akut contains 1.6 mg of carrageenan and 70 mg of sorbitol (corresponding to a 2.3% saline solution). It contains no preservatives and can also be used on young children aged 1 year and over. If necessary, COLDAMARIS akut can be used over a longer period; there is no risk of developing a tolerance!
