Directions for use
The recommended dose is:
Adolescents (weighing more than 50 kg) and adults:
- Single dose: 1 effervescent tablet. For more severe pain, 2 effervescent tablets (0.5 g – 1.0 g ASA and 0.25 – 0.5 g vitamin C). The minimum interval between single doses should be 4 hours.
- The maximum daily dose of 3 g of ASA (equivalent to 6 effervescent tablets) must not be exceeded.
Older people (over 65 years):
- Single dose: 1 effervescent tablet. For more severe pain, take 2 effervescent tablets (0.5 g – 1.0 g ASA and 0.25 – 0.5 g vitamin C). The minimum interval between individual doses should be 4 hours.
- The maximum daily dose of 2 g of ASA (equivalent to 4 effervescent tablets) must not be exceeded.
It is recommended, particularly for elderly and underweight individuals, to use the lowest effective dose .
Use in children and adolescents
Children under 12 years of age: Aspro Grippal is not suitable for use in children.
Ingredients
The active ingredients are: 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) and 250 mg of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) per effervescent tablet
The other ingredients are: anhydrous citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, anhydrous sodium carbonate, sodium dihydrogen citrate, sodium citrate, povidone (K 30), mannitol, docusate sodium, simeticone, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, lemon flavouring, sorbitol (E420).
