ADOLORINI DIREKT 200mg oral suspension. The stick TO GO for quick and direct intake without water. With the proven active ingredient ibuprofen. Suitable for children from 6 years of age with strawberry flavour.

This medicine contains ibuprofen and belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These have an analgesic and antipyretic effect.

ADOLORINI DIREKT 200 mg oral suspension is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain (e.g. headache, back pain, toothache, muscle pain, joint pain, menstrual cramps, nerve pain) and/or fever (e.g. colds and flu-like infections) in children aged between 6 and 11 years with a body weight between 20 kg and 39 kg and in adolescents aged 12 years and over with a body weight of 40 kg and adults.

If you do not feel better or even worse and you need to take this medicine for longer than 3 days in children and adolescents or longer than 4 days in adults in case of pain or longer than 3 days in case of fever, consult your doctor.

How to use
In children, ibuprofen is dosed according to body weight and age.
The recommended total daily dose for children is 20-30 mg ibuprofen per kg body weight, administered in 3-4 single doses. The interval between 2 doses should not be less than 6 hours. Do not exceed the recommended maximum daily dose. A maximum dosage of 30 mg/kg ibuprofen should not be exceeded within 24 hours.

Children under 6 years of age and/or weighing less than 20kg: Due to the high dosage of ibuprofen in a sachet, this medicine must not be administered to children under 6 years of age and/or weighing less than 20kg.

Recommended dosage for children aged 6 to 11 years with a body weight of 20 kg to 39 kg, for adolescents aged 12 years and over with a body weight of 40 kg and for adults:

Body weight (age) 20 - 29 kg (children 6 - 9 years)
  • Single dose 200 mg (1 sachet)
  • max. total daily dose 600 mg ibuprofen (3 sachets)

Body weight (age) 30 - 39 kg ( children 10 - 11 years)
  • Single dose 200 mg (1 sachet)
  • max. total daily dose 800 mg ibuprofen (4 sachets)

Body weight (age) from 40 kg (adolescents from 12 years and adults)
  • Single dose 200-400 mg (1 to 2 sachets)
  • max. total daily dose 1200 mg ibuprofen (6 sachets)

ADOLORINI DIREKT 200 mg oral suspension may only be given to children aged 6 to 12 years and/or weighing 20 kg or more if prescribed by a doctor.

Frequency of use
If necessary, the recommended dose should be administered approximately every 6 to 8 hours.

Duration of use
  • If children and adolescents need to take this medicine for longer than 3 days or if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor immediately.
  • If adults need to take this medicine for more than 3 days for fever or more than 4 days for pain or if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor immediately.

Instructions for use
  • Oral use.
  • Squeeze the contents of one sachet of ADOLORINI DIREKT 200 mg oral suspension directly into the mouth and drink a glass of water if necessary.
  • For patients with a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the medicine during meals.
  • The sachet has an elongated shape with a marking line at the top for tearing open and squeezing out the contents.
  • Before opening, knead the sachet to mix the ingredients.

Ingredients
  • The active ingredient is ibuprofen.
  • Each sachet contains 200 mg ibuprofen in 10 ml oral suspension.
  • The other ingredients are: Sodium benzoate (E211), citric acid, anhydrous (E330), sodium citrate (E331), saccharin sodium (E954), sodium chloride, hypromellose (type 2910) (E464), xanthan gum, maltitol solution (E965), glycerol (99,8%) (E422), strawberry flavouring (contains nature-identical flavourings, natural flavour preparations, maize maltodextrin, triethyl citrate (E1505), propylene glycol (E1520) and benzyl alcohol), purified water.
