Urgenin® bladder capsules* are a dietary supplement with cranberry and bearberry extract. The plant substances bearberry and cranberry are used to protect the urinary tract and its function.

• Bearberry: Like the cranberry, the bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) belongs to the heather family. Its leaves contain the natural substance arbutin, which is broken down into the active ingredient hydroquinone, as well as tannins and flavonoids. Overall, the leaves of the bearberry have a disinfectant effect on the urine and promote good flushing and cleansing of the urinary tract.
• Cranberry: The cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpum) is also known as the large-fruited cranberry. Its red fruits are rich in polyphenols such as proanthocyanidins, quercetin and organic acids. The cranberry contains minerals, trace elements and vitamin C. These ingredients are part of a healthy diet and fulfil important protective functions in the human body.

Ingredients

• Composition: Two capsules contain 355 mg cranberry fruit extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon L.), containing 24 mg proanthocyanidins and 64.3 mg bearberry leaf dry extract (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi), containing 6.8 mg arbutin.
• Other ingredients: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, calcium phosphate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide, copper-containing complexes of chlorophylls and chlorophyllins.
