Even with long-term prophylaxis against urinary tract infections and the associated increased intake of vitamin C, the Combur 5 HC provides a reliable result. The test is protected against interference from vitamin C.

With Combur 5 HC urine test strips, you’ll get a result within 60 seconds. The result is interpreted visually by comparing it with the colour scale on the test tube label. If the result is positive, please consult your doctor.

If you suspect you have a urinary tract infection, you can use the Combur5 Test® HC urine test strips conveniently at home.

Always carry out the test using your first morning urine and use a clean, well-rinsed container to collect the urine

1. Wash your genitals carefully and rinse them thoroughly with plenty of water – do not dry them.
2. Allow the initial stream of urine to run into the toilet and collect the rest of the urine in the well-rinsed container.
3. Dip the Combur5 Test® HC urine test strip into the urine until all the test fields are moistened.
4. Wait for the specified time. With the Combur5 Test® HC urine test strips, you’ll get a result within 60 seconds.
5. Then hold the test strip up to the colour scale on the tube label and read your test result immediately after the specified time has elapsed.
