Who is OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN designed for?

The vaginal flora is made up of billions of different beneficial lactobacilli – also known as lactic acid bacteria. These maintain a specific pH level in the vagina, preventing unwanted germs and fungi from multiplying. The vaginal flora begins to develop from birth through the oral intake of beneficial bacteria. The natural route therefore takes the lactobacilli via the mouth and the gut into the vaginal area.

However, the natural balance of the vaginal flora can be disrupted. This can be caused, for example, by medication (e.g. antibiotics) or hormonal changes (including those caused by hormonal contraceptives such as the ‘pill’, during pregnancy or during the menopause). This alters the number and diversity of the important lactobacilli in the vagina.

As a result, bacteria and fungi can multiply easily – leading to a microbial imbalance.

Why does OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN work?

  • OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN replenishes the bacterial flora with four bacterial cultures that occur naturally in the human body and are capable of multiplying.
  • The viability and ability to multiply of these specially formulated bacteria are guaranteed up to the best-before date.

Directions for use
1–2 times daily: mix 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN (= 2 g) into approx. 1/8 l of water or (diluted) fruit juice, milk or tea (up to a maximum of 40°C), yoghurt or similar; allow at least 1 minute for activation, stir again and then consume.

Please note in general: The liquid in which you dissolve OMNi-BiOTiC®

  • must not be hotter than 40°C (bacteria tolerate exactly the same temperatures as the human body),
  • should not be coffee, alcohol or any other product with a very acidic pH (e.g. cola, grapefruit juice, vinegar) and
  • should, if possible, not be carbonated.
It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach where possible, e.g. in the morning before breakfast and/or in the evening before dinner or before going to bed. It is recommended to use OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN over a longer period. This has been tried and tested and is beneficial.

As OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN contains only bacteria that occur naturally in the human body, it can also be taken during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.

Directions for use: OMNi-BiOTiC® products contain small amounts of various dietary fibres that serve as specific food sources for the bacteria, including, for example, fructooligosaccharides (FOS). If you know you have a fructose intolerance, you should extend the activation time for OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN to 30 minutes. During this time, the bacteria metabolise their food (= fructooligosaccharides, etc.) almost completely, so that at most only a few individual molecules of these substances reach the gut.
