Lomexin® 2 % cream, 30 G

Lomexin® 2 % cream is an over-the-counter medicine against fungal infections of the skin with a broad spectrum of activity. It is used in adults, adolescents and children from 3 years of age.

Areas of application

• Canker sores (pityriasis versicolor)
• Ringworm (tinea corporis)
• Infections caused by filamentous fungi (dermatophytes), yeasts and other fungi

The growth of the fungi is inhibited or killed. If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

How to use

• Apply a thin layer of Lomexin to the affected area once or twice a day.
• Method of application: Apply to the skin, wash the area to be treated carefully and dry thoroughly. Lomexin is non-greasy, does not cause discolouration and can be easily removed with water. During treatment, hygiene measures such as daily changes of linen and towels that come into contact with the affected body part are particularly important. In this way, you can prevent the spread of the fungal infection or re-infection. Wash the used laundry at 95°C (boil programme). Please use only boil-proof linen and towels during treatment.
• Duration of use: Use Lomexin regularly until complete healing has occurred. If you suffer from a foot or nail fungus infection, continue treatment for a further week or two after healing to prevent re-infection.

Ingredients

• What Lomexin contains: The active ingredient is: fenticonazole nitrate. 1 g cream contains 20 mg fenticonazole nitrate.
• The other ingredients are: Propylene glycol, hydrogenated lanolin (wool wax), almond oil, polyglycol esters of fatty acids, cetyl alcohol, glycerol monostearate, sodium edetate, purified water.
