Lomexin® 600 mg vaginal capsules contain the active ingredient fenticonazole nitrate. This non-prescription medicine is effective against fungal infections, in particular against the fungus "Candida".
Lomexin® is used in adolescents over the age of 16 and adults to treat a common vaginal infection known as "vaginal candidiasis" (vaginal fungus). Lomexin vaginal capsules must only be inserted into the vagina.

How to use
- The Lomexin vaginal capsule is intended for vaginal use only (for insertion into the vagina). Do not swallow it.
- The vaginal capsule should be inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina before going to bed.
- The recommended dose is 1 vaginal capsule (single administration). If the symptoms persist, a second dose can be administered after three days.
- Use in adolescents: The recommended dose for adolescents aged 16 and over is the same as for adults.
- Consult a doctor before use: if you are experiencing the condition for the first time and/or if the condition has occurred more than twice in the past 6 months.
Ingredients
- What Lomexin 600 mg vaginal capsule contains: The active ingredient is: fenticonazole nitrate. 1 vaginal capsule contains 600 mg fenticonazole nitrate.
- The other ingredients are: Sodium ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 215), sodium propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 217), liquid paraffin, white vaseline, soya lecithin, gelatine, glycerol, titanium dioxide (E 171).
