Who is OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN suitable for?

The vaginal flora is formed by billions of different beneficial lactobacilli - also known as lactic acid bacteria. These ensure a certain pH value in the vagina in which undesirable germs and fungi cannot multiply. The vaginal flora is built up from birth through the oral intake of beneficial bacteria. The natural route for lactobacilli is therefore via the mouth and intestines into the vaginal area.

However, the natural balance of the vaginal flora can become unstable. This can be due to medication (e.g. antibiotics) or hormonal changes (e.g. hormonal contraceptives such as the pill, pregnancy or the menopause). This changes the number and diversity of the important lactobacilli in the vagina.

As a result, germs and fungi can easily multiply - creating a microbial imbalance.

How does OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN work?

OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN supplements the bacterial flora with four bacterial cultures that occur naturally in the human body and are capable of reproduction.
The viability and reproductive capacity of the specially harmonised bacteria is guaranteed until the best-before date.

Directions for use

Stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN (= 2 g) into approx. 1/8 litre of water 1-2 times a day, wait at least 1 minute for activation, stir again and then drink. We recommend taking it on an empty stomach if possible.
If you take OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN twice a day, it is recommended to take it before breakfast and before dinner.
OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN can also be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
If you are known to be intolerant to fructose, you should extend the activation time of OMNi-BiOTiC® WOMAN to 30 minutes. During this time, the bacteria metabolise their food (= fructo-oligosaccharides etc.) almost completely, so that at most individual molecules of these substances enter the intestine.

Composition Maltodextrin, fructooligosaccharides (FOS), bacterial strains* *4 human bacterial strains with at least 5 billion bacteria per 1 portion (= 2 g) and 10 billion bacteria per 2 portions (= 4 g): Lactobacillus crispatus LBV88, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LBV96, Lactobacillus gasseri LBV150N, Lactobacillus jensenii LBV116.
Nutritional information per serving (2 g): Calorific value 28.00 kJ 6.60 kcal, fat < 0.01 g - of which saturated fatty acids 0.00 g, carbohydrates 1.30 g - of which sugar 0.10 g, protein 0.04 g, salt < 0.01 g.
