Kottas green tea invigorates body and mind. It is an organic green tea speciality of the Bancha variety from the southern growing regions of Japan, and contains caffeine.

Packaged in 20 double-chamber filter bags, each containing 1.9 g, ready to use and with the contents and aroma protected.

Bancha (Japanese: ban [=ordinary] and cha [=tea]) is a very popular green tea from Japan and is rich in natural antioxidants. In everyday life, this tea speciality is enjoyed at all hours of the day and is highly prized for its delicate aroma and mild flavour. KOTTAS Bancha green tea is made from the leaves of the high-quality first Bancha harvest (Ato-Bancha) in June. Bancha is characterised by a lower caffeine content and is therefore very easy to digest.

Directions for use

For the best flavour, pour boiling water over 1 tea bag per cup (125 ml), cover and leave to infuse for 1½ minutes. Then swirl the tea bag and squeeze it out well. Drink lukewarm, in small sips. The tea bag can be reused for a second infusion (steep for 30 seconds).
TIP: The first infusion contains all the key ingredients of green tea and therefore has a particularly intense flavour. The second infusion is low in tannins and caffeine and therefore has a mild flavour. Enjoy a cup of tea several times a day and feel the power of nature!
