- Burning, stinging, pressing and dull pain occur with inflammatory changes. This is often accompanied by moisture and soreness around the anus. A common sign of haemorrhoids is bleeding, which may occasionally occur after a bowel movement. The blood is bright red and not mixed with the stools.
- The bleeding is sometimes so slight that it merely stains the toilet paper or the water in the toilet bowl, but it can also be much more severe.
- Essentially, haemorrhoids are nothing more than varicose veins. They are located either outside or inside the rectum, or in the area of the sphincter muscle. A distinction is made between external and internal haemorrhoids. As with varicose veins in the legs, blood pooling occurs in haemorrhoids.
- The condition is more common in women than in men. It rarely develops before the age of 20. Generally speaking, women and men who suffer from a general weakness of the connective tissue are prone to haemorrhoids.

Directions for use
- The cream should ideally be applied whilst squatting or with the upper body bent forwards to ensure the affected areas of skin in the anal region are easily reached. Apply a thin layer of the cream to the entire anal area.
- Notes: For adult use only. Apply only to intact skin. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes. An applicator is not included, as this is not permitted for cosmetic products.
