Even with long-term prophylaxis against urinary tract infections and the associated increased vitamin C intake, the Combur 5 HC provides a reliable result. The test is protected against interference from vitamin C .

With the Combur 5 HC urine test strips, you receive a test result within 60 seconds. The result is evaluated visually by comparing it with the colour scale on the tube label. In the event of a positive result, please consult your doctor.

How to use

If you suspect you are suffering from a urinary tract infection, you can use the Combur5 Test® HC urine test strips in the comfort of your own home.

Always carry out the test with the first morning urine and use a clean, well-rinsed container to collect the urine

1. Wash your genitals thoroughly and rinse with plenty of water - do not dry them.
2. First drain the beginning stream of urine into the toilet and collect the rest of the urine in the well-rinsed container.
3. Dip the Combur5 Test® HC urine strip into the urine until all fields are moistened.
4. Wait the specified time. The Combur5 Test® HC urine test strips will give you a test result within 60 seconds.
5. Then hold the test strip against the colour scale on the tube label and read your test result immediately after the specified time has elapsed.
