Colpofix® is a vaginal gel for spraying that prevents and treats cervical lesions caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).
- Formation of a film that protects the cervicovaginal mucosa from harmful external microbial influences thanks to its bioadhesive capacity.
- Promotion of re-epithelialisation and regression of cervical lesions thanks to the control of physiological conditions of the cervicovaginal mucosal transformation area by means of hydration.
- Restoration and maintenance of the vaginal microbiome thanks to the regulation of the vaginal pH and its probiotic action.
- Prevention and treatment of cervical damage caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). Treatment is carried out by maintaining the physiological conditions of the cervicovaginal mucosal transformation area.
- Effective distribution: Colpofix® is an innovative vaginal gel in spray form. Its exclusive formulation as a spray ensures uniform and effective distribution of the gel on the mucous membrane at the junction between the vagina and cervix without leaking.
- Ergonomic shape: The ergonomic shape of the patented applicator reaches the cervix.
- Carboxymethyl beta-glucan: Promotes the formation of the top layer of cells (re-epithelialisation) and the regression of cervical lesions. Its special properties help to restore and maintain the vaginal microbiome (vaginal flora).
- Polycarbophil: Forms a film on the vaginal mucosa that protects the affected area against the harmful effects of external microbial influences. Polycarbophil also has a pH-reducing effect.
Dosage form
How to use
- Do not shake the product before use. Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Remove the vaginal applicator from its protective cover. Remove the cap from the spray bottle. Place the applicator on the spray nozzle of the spray bottle. Activate the spraying process by pressing the spray head several times until the product comes out. Lie on your back with your knees bent and insert the applicator deep into the vagina. Spray 5 times per application. Dispose of the applicator after use. Close the spray bottle with the cap.
- Dosage: It is recommended to use the product once a day for 10 days (5 sprays) in the evening before going to bed. Repeat the application if recommended by your doctor. 1 spray bottle corresponds to 10 days of use.
- Notes: Each applicator is intended for single use. The vaginal gel is fragrance-free.
- Side effects: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or intolerance to any of the product's ingredients. The tests carried out with the product to date have not shown any sensitisation or other side effects. Please consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
- Warnings: The colour of the gel may vary due to the use of natural ingredients without affecting the quality of the product. The product is intended for vaginal use. Do not ingest or swallow. In case of confirmed or suspected pregnancy and concomitant use of local pharmacological therapies, the product must not be used without a recommendation from your doctor or pharmacist. The product is not intended for use in children. Keep the product out of the reach of children. As with all topical products, prolonged use of the product may cause local sensitisation or irritation. In this case, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use the product if the packaging or applicator is damaged or not fully intact when first opened. Do not use the product after the expiry date. Use the product in accordance with the instructions for use. The vaginal applicator is a disposable item and must not be reused.
