Canesten Bifonazole Cream is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent for the treatment of fungal infections (mycoses) of the skin. Fungal infections can occur on practically any part of the body; areas of the body where skin lies on skin, i.e. between the toes, in the groin area or in the armpit, are particularly at risk .Bifonazole, the active ingredient in Canesten Bifonazole Cream, penetrates the affected skin layers and killsthe fungus there.
Canesten Bifonazole Cream is used for the treatment of e.g. Fungal diseases of the feet and hands (tinea pedis, tinea manuum) (including the treatment of an exposed nail bed as a result of nail substance-dissolving nail fungus therapy), fungal diseases of the remaining skin and skin folds (tinea corporis, tinea inguinalis), pityriasis versicolor and skin diseases (erythrasma).

How to use
- Canesten Bifonazole Cream should be applied thinly to the affected areas of skin once a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed.
- A small amount of cream (approx. 1 cm strand length) is usually sufficient for an area about the size of the palm of the hand.
Method of application
- Apply a thin layer of Canesten Bifonazole cream to the affected areas of skin in the evening before going to bed and rub the cream in.
- In the case of fungal nail infections, it is advisable to file down the surface of the nails slightly before treatment to allow the cream to penetrate particularly well.
Ingredients
The active ingredient is: Bifonazole
1 g contains 0.01 g bifonazole.
The other ingredients are: Benzyl alcohol, cetyl stearyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, purified water, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate .
