How to use
Nizoral 2 % - medicated shampoo is intended for use in adolescents and adults.
Method of application:
For application to the hairy scalp Wet the hair with warm water and apply Nizoral 2 % - medicated shampoo (equivalent to approx. 1-2 teaspoons or 1 sachet) and bring to a lather. Leave the shampoo on for 3-5 minutes. Rinse hair and scalp thoroughly . The shampoo should not get into the eyes!
The recommended dose is
- Treatment: use 2 times a week, for 2-4 weeks.
- To prevent relapses: use once every 1-2 weeks.
If the symptoms persist or if the expected results are not achieved, a medical consultation is required after 4 weeks at the latest.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Nizoral 2% medicated shampoo is too strong or too weak.
Use in children
The safety and efficacy of NIZORAL 2 % - medicated shampoo has not been established in children under 12 years of age.

What Nizoral contains - The active ingredient is: Ketoconazole. 1 g shampoo contains 20 mg ketoconazole
The other ingredients are: imidurea, sodium lauryl ether sulphate, disodium lauryl ether sulphosuccinate , coconut fatty acid diethanolamide, laurdimonium hydrol. Animal collagen, polyethylene (120) methyl glucosedioleate, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide , parfum bouquet, erythrosine (E 127) and purified water.
