beecraft® Propolis Skin Balm is suitable for the lasting care of sensitive, dry or cracked skin and prevents skin impurities such as spots or blackheads.

Propolis is a natural active ingredient from the beehive that is particularly valued for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The natural substance supports natural cell renewal, promotes the skin's metabolism and soothes irritated, reddened skin. The skin balm has also proven its worth for the natural care and soothing of the skin after insect bites or sunburn.

The effect of propolis is complemented by the nourishing and relaxing properties of sage and camomile.

What is propolis?

The basic ingredient of propolis is collected by bees as a resinous substance from the buds and bark of various trees. Only the most experienced and oldest bees in a colony take on this important task. They proceed very carefully in their search for suitable plant substances. The collected selection is then refined by the bees with ferment, pollen and wax and processed into propolis, a unique natural product. Up to 100 g of propolis per year can be obtained from a beehive through careful harvesting. In order to disturb the life of the bees as little as possible, modern methods make use of the bees' natural behaviour.
