BIOGELAT® Vitamin E 400 mg capsules are a high-dose food supplement containing vitamin E. Vitamin E helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress.

What is vitamin E and how does it work?

Vitamin E is a vitamin that protects the cells, e.g. in the joints, from so-called "oxidative stress". This protective function of vitamin E in the human organism is important in order to intercept and inactivate so-called free radicals (= unstable, highly reactive atoms or molecules). These free radicals are caused by harmful environmental pollution, stress, but also by increased consumption of alcohol and cigarettes. Vitamin E has the ability to neutralise these aggressive free radicals and helps to protect cell structures from damage.
