EPA/DHA essentials

Due to misalignments in our diet (too little fatty sea fish, excessive consumption of trans fats, hydrogenated oils, animal fats), the intake of fish oils has enormous and versatile positive effects on general health. EPA/DHA essentials 1000mg contains the standardised omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (doco-sahexaenoic acid). They belong to the polyunsaturated fatty acids.

The essential fatty acids therefore have heart-protective ^properties1) and contribute to the maintenance of normal ^blood pressure2). Omega-3 fatty acids are also important building blocks of myelin sheaths.Pure Encapsulations® only uses fish oils that carry the "Friend of the Sea" seal. This internationally recognised seal of quality confirms, for example, that no overfished species are used and that legal fishing quotas are adhered to.
