Vitamin B12 and folic acid work closely together in the metabolism, which is why an increased intake of vitamin B12 usually makes sense in parallel with an increased need for folic acid. Both vitamins of the B group are important for cell division, normal mental function and haematopoiesis. Metafolin®, the active form of folic acid, is optimally absorbed and utilised by the body. Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin (activated form) can also be utilised quickly and effectively in the body.
