legamed® contains the herbal extract from the seeds of milk thistle (Silybum marianum) with a high standardised content of silymarin (80 %) and the extract from the artichoke (Cynara scolymus) with 10 % cynarin. The liver plays an important role in the organism as a metabolic, digestive and detoxification centre. It produces bile for the digestion of fat, which is temporarily stored in the gallbladder and released into the duodenum as required. These "bile juices" are indispensable for the digestion of fatty food components: they ensure that the dietary fat is broken down into tiny droplets, which can then be processed more easily by the body. If bile production is insufficient, a high-fat meal becomes difficult to digest, resulting in symptoms such as flatulence, bloating or a feeling of fullness.

• Artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.): Even the ancient Egyptians and Romans valued the artichoke as a helpful remedy for hard-to-digest, high-fat meals. • Take 1 capsule 1-2 times a day with sufficient liquid.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in case of known allergy to composite plants (e.g. arnica, marigold, yarrow) or any of the other ingredients, or in case of obstruction of the bile ducts.
