immundoc® PROABWEHR FORTE capsules contain a combination of nasturtium and horseradish root. The rutin derived from Sophora japonica promotes the absorption of the high-dose vitamin C contained in immundoc, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

immundoc® PROABWEHR FORTE also contains vitamin D, which, together with high-dose zinc and selenium, supports the normal function of the immune system. Furthermore, zinc and selenium, together with the vitamin E contained in the product, help to protect cells from oxidative stress.

Mustard oils

• In natural and folk medicine, various properties are attributed to certain plants which may have a positive effect on wellbeing during flu season.

Nasturtium

• The advanced civilisation of the Incas used the leaves of nasturtium, which is native to the Andean regions of Peru and Bolivia, to treat infected wounds quickly. It is rich in phytochemicals (mustard oil glycosides) and vitamin C, thereby helping to maintain a healthy immune system.
• This, in turn, protects against viruses and bacteria and boosts resistance. Even today, the plant is used in the folk medicine of South American indigenous peoples to treat conditions such as coughs and bronchitis, amongst other things.

Sophora japonica buds

• The buds of the ‘Japanese pagoda tree’ contain the bioflavonoid rutin, which promotes the absorption of vitamin C, which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.

Horseradish root

• Horseradish has been a tried-and-tested plant for centuries due to its constituents, some of which have antibiotic properties. Horseradish was also popular with seafarers, as its high vitamin C content offered excellent protection against scurvy. The root contains important mustard oils.

Selenium & zinc

• Selenium and zinc are micronutrients that play an important role in the functioning of the immune system and in protecting cells from oxidative stress.
