Actinica® Lotion is a medical product with SPF 50+ sun protection factor for the prevention of various forms of light skin cancer in patients at risk (immunosuppressed). Provides very high UVB and UVA protection.

Actinica® Lotion Actinica® Lotion, unlike normal sun creams, which are classed as cosmetics, is a medical product that is subject to stricter regulations. Actinica® Lotion is the only medical device with a dosage dispenser and long-term clinical data proving the prevention of various forms of light or white skin cancer^.1

What is special about it?

Actinica® Lotion not only prevents light skin cancer when used daily, but also contributes to the regression of existing actinic keratoses on the skin due to its very high UV protection. In a scientific ^study1, a 53 per cent reduction in actinic keratoses, the precursors of light/white skin cancer, was recorded after 24 months of regular use. In addition, no new squamous cell carcinomas were detected in the patients during the same period with regular use.

Who is Actinica® Lotion suitable for?

Actinica® Lotion is generally suitable for all skin types. The product has been specially developed for people with an increased risk of light-coloured or white skin cancer. The UV protection of Actinica® Lotion corresponds to the highest category 'very high UV protection' (SPF 50+). An additional application of sunscreen is not necessary.
