Vibrocil® nasal drops, 15 ml

Phenylephrine has adecongestant effect by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal mucosa and in the neighbouringarea of the throat, thereby facilitating free nasal breathing.

Dimetindene maleate is a so-called "antihistamine", which reduces excessive secretionand relieves the annoying sneezing irritation .

When is Vibrocil used?

• for acute rhinitis to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa and restrict"runny nose"
• for sudden exacerbation of a chronic, allergic (e.g. hay fever) andnervous rhinitis
• for sinusitis as an additional treatment

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents over 12 years 3 - 4 times daily 2 - 3 drops in eachnostril
• Children from 2 to 12 years 3 - 4 times daily 1 - 2 drops in each nostril

There should be at least 6 hours between two applications.

Use in children should be supervised by parents or adults.

Method of application

For nasal application. For instillation into the nose.

• Clean the nose thoroughly before use (blowing the nose).
• Then tilt the head back and instil drops into one nostril;close the othernostril with your finger and inhale quickly with your mouth closed.
• Repeat the process in the other nostril.

For reasons of hygiene and to avoid infection, it should be noted that eachdosing unit may only ever be used by one and the same person.

Duration of treatment

After 1 week, a treatment break of several days must be taken. Vibrocil nasal dropsmust not be used for longer than 7 days unless prescribed by a doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredients are: Phenylephrine and dimetindene maleate. 1 ml solution (40 drops) contains:2.5 mg phenylephrine and 0.25 mg dimetindene maleate .

The other ingredients are: Benzalkonium chloride, citric acid monohydrate,sodium monohydrogen phosphate, sorbitol solution 70%, lavender essence, purified water.
