Venoruton contains the active ingredient oxerutin, which belongs to a group of drugs thatprotect the blood vessels (so-called systemic vasoprotectors).
Venoruton stabilises the vascular wall, whichleads to a reduction in the permeability of the vessels andsubsequently to a reduction in swelling (oedema).
This medicine is used for the supportive treatment of symptoms:
for diseases of the leg veins, such as:
- Water retention (oedema) and swelling
- pain, cramps or tingling in the legs, "tired and heavy legs".
- for haemorrhoids.

How to use
To be taken after dissolving in liquid
To open, separate the sachets along the perforation. Then open the individual sachetby tearing it at the point marked by the arrow. You can alsocut the sachetopen with scissors.
Method of application
- Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water.
- The recommended dose is 1 sachet per day (morning or evening).
- A treatment of 4 to 8 weeks is usually sufficient. The effect lasts beyond this period.
Ingredients
The active ingredient is: O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutoside (= oxerutin).
One sachet (3 g) contains: 1000 mg O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutoside (= oxerutin)
The other ingredients are: Saccharin sodium, mannitol (E421), citric acid.
