Venobene® ointment is an over-the-counter medicine containing the active ingredients: heparin sodium and dexpanthenol. The ointment is suitable for the supportive treatment of: inflammation and blood clot formation in superficial veins, and much more.
Venobene® ointment contains a combination of the active ingredients heparin and dexpanthenol.
- Heparin intervenes at several points in the body’s coagulation system, thereby inhibiting the formation of blood clots and their further spread. Furthermore, heparin has an anti-inflammatory effect.
- Dexpanthenol is rapidly converted within the cells into pantothenic acid, which, as a component of coenzyme A, plays a central role in the metabolism of every cell. Pantothenic acid is essential for the formation of the surfaces of the skin and mucous membranes. It increases the rate of cell renewal and the tear resistance of connective tissue fibres during wound healing.
Venobene - ointment is suitable for the supportive treatment of:
- inflammation and blood clot formation in superficial veins and inflammation of the surrounding connective tissue,
- haemorrhoids, pathological dilation of blood vessels in the anal region (perianal haematomas);
- complications arising from venous disorders (varicose vein syndrome),
- sports and accident injuries such as bruises, contusions and sprains.
