Normison® ear spray, 10 ml

Ideal after water sports: Normison® ear spray dries out the ear canal quickly and effectively prevents inflammation (swimmer’s ear). The formula, containing acetic acid, restores the ear’s natural acid mantle, whilst dexpanthenol nourishes the skin. For children aged 3 and over.

Inflammation in the external ear canal is exacerbated by excessive moisture and by a pH value that is too high, i.e. alkaline. Removing moisture is therefore an important measure for preventing inflammation, particularly after prolonged contact with water. The special formulation of Normison® Ear Spray ensures that the skin surface in the external auditory canal dries quickly. The acid component helps to restore or maintain the skin’s natural acid mantle. The dexpanthenol it contains provides additional protection and care for the skin. 

Normison® Ear Spray is used for the preventative and adjunctive treatment of inflammation of the external auditory canal, particularly following frequent or prolonged exposure to water, such as after swimming, bathing, diving and water sports, as well as for use as an adjunct to medical treatment for inflammation of the external auditory canal.

Directions for use

• After exposure to water (fresh or salt water), it is recommended that adults apply 2–3 sprays and children 1–2 sprays into the ear canal. Then allow the liquid to remain in the ear for 20–30 seconds, with your head tilted to one side. Once you have raised your head, wipe away any liquid that has dripped out and allow the remaining liquid in the ear canal to evaporate. Repeat the process on the other ear. NORMISON ear spray should be sprayed into the ear canal at body temperature where possible. If there is earwax, flaky skin or other debris present, it is recommended that you clean the external ear canal with CERUSTOP® Ear Oil Spray before using NORMISON Ear Spray.
