VOICLA® Hydro-intens Throat Tablets provide intensive moisturising and soothing of the throat, pharynx and vocal cords - for particularly dry throats and pharynxes as well as in cases of heavy strain and severe irritation of the particularly sensitive vocal cords. The triple effect means:

• The hydro gel forms a film for intensive moisturising, which covers the irritated throat mucous membranes in a soothing, protective and lasting way.

Our mucous membranes tend to dry out, especially in the colder months of the year, as a lot of moisture is lost due to low outside temperatures and dry heating air. • Iceland moss, with the Latin name Cetraria islandica, is botanically a lichen. It is widespread at higher altitudes in Europe and can even withstand the harsh climatic conditions of the Arctic Circle. The lichen can grow up to 12 cm high and consists of branched, antler-like shoots. It should be emphasised that Iceland moss has a calming and soothing effect on the throat, pharynx and vocal cords. The reason for this is the mucilage it contains. These act like a balm on the dry mucous membranes and soothe the throat and pharynx.
• Rockrose (Cistus incanus) is a special species of the rockrose family. It grows mainly in Mediterranean regions and has strikingly colourful flowers. The rockrose herb itself contains important tannins and polyphenols and has therefore always been used in many different ways, e.g. as a tea. Polyphenols are secondary plant substances.
• Hyaluronic acid, also known as hyaluron, is an important component of our body, e.g. in the skin. It has the unique ability to bind very large amounts of water and has a high structural viscosity. For example, one gram of hyaluronic acid can bind up to six litres of water.
• The Hydro-GEL is made from gum arabic and xanthan gum, both of which consist of natural polysaccharides.
