The new Activir DUO with its unique dual action formula of 5% acyclovir and 1% hydrocortisone stops the virus multiplying and fights the inflammation it causes. Activir DUO can even prevent the formation of blisters if used early! If blisters do form, the healing process is accelerated.

How to use

Apply the cream 5 times a day for 5 days (i.e. approximately every 3-4 hours while you are awake). It is recommended to start treatment as soon as possible, preferably at the first sign or discomfort (e.g. tingling, redness or itching). Do not use for longer than 5 days. If your symptoms persist for more than 10 days in total, talk to your doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredients are: Acyclovir and hydrocortisone. One gram of cream contains 50 mg acyclovir and 10 mg hydrocortisone.

The other ingredients are: viscous paraffin, propylene glycol, isopropyl myristate, sodium dodecyl sulphate, cetylstearyl alcohol, white vaseline, poloxamer 188, citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid and purified water.
