- Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium, Chrysanthemum parthenium) is a 20-60 cm tall plant with bushy growth and serrated leaves. The white or yellow flowers, reminiscent of daisies, appear throughout the summer and into the autumn. Feverfew contains a number of valuable secondary plant substances such as parthenolide, which are important for nutrition. Fresh feverfew leaves have a spicy, bitter flavour and can be eaten as a salad or as a topping on bread. The dried leaves are used to make tea.
- Magnesium fulfils vital functions in the human organism. Above all, magnesium is indispensable for the electrolyte balance - and thus also for a balanced relationship between tension and relaxation of the muscles. Magnesium also contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
