The Nutri Store Vitamin C 1000 mg + Zinc 10 mg long-term tablets are a dietary supplement with vitamin C and zinc in a special sustained-release formulation.

This releases the vital substances slowly over a period of 6 to 8 hours and thus supplies the body with the optimum amount of vitamin C and zinc over a longer period of time. Just one tablet a day provides your body with a reliable supply of these vital nutrients.

More and more studies are proving this: Your entire body benefits from high doses of vitamin C together with zinc! Both vital substances play a decisive role in a healthy, vital immune system. Vitamin C also helps to protect your body cells from oxidative stress, i.e. attacks by "free radicals", and to reduce tiredness and fatigue. Zinc helps your body to maintain normal acid-base, carbohydrate and fatty acid metabolism.

Unfortunately, your body cannot produce vitamin C and zinc itself. You must take in sufficient quantities of these essential vital substances with your food. The daily requirement would normally be covered by a very balanced diet with plenty of vegetables and fresh fruit. However, an unbalanced or incorrectly prepared diet, smoking, stress, physical exertion, adolescent growth, pregnancy and breastfeeding or reduced absorption capacity (e.g. in old age) can lead to an increased need for vital substances.
