The Nutri Store Selenium 200 µg Mono Capsules are a dietary supplement for additional selenium requirements. Each Selenium 200 µg Mono capsule contains 200 µg of pure selenium from sodium selenite.

Selenium is a vital trace element that is of great importance to the organism. It cannot be produced by the body itself and must therefore be taken in daily with food. Selenium is mainly found in fish and the liver. Depending on the region, fruit and vegetables contain very little or no selenium. The body needs 50 to 100 µg of selenium per day.

Selenium is a central component of many enzymes that fulfil important functions in the body. Among other things, selenium contributes to the maintenance of healthy hair and nails, to the normal function of the thyroid gland and the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. The body needs selenium, especially during high physical exertion and stress, in old age and during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but is often not sufficiently supplied with this important micronutrient.

How to use

Take 1 capsule daily with sufficient liquid during a meal.

Ingredients: Bulking agents calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose; gelatine, bulking agent maltodextrin, anti-caking agent magnesium stearate, sodium selenite (0.04 % selenium).
Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: Selenium 200.0 µg 364 % *Recommended daily requirement according to RDA in accordance with the Nutrition Labelling Ordinance.
