Solgar® Full Spectrum Curcumin LICAPS® capsules are a natural supplement with highly bioavailable curcumin from turmeric. Curcumin is a plant-based active ingredient known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Turmeric has been used for many centuries in the Chinese tradition and in Ayurveda to maintain general well-being. However, the curcumin contained in turmeric is particularly valued for gastrointestinal health. Curcumin has a naturally low bioavailability. To increase this, we use micelle technology with our innovative NovaSOL® Curcumin. This means that the curcumin it contains is embedded in so-called micelles. More precisely, in a fat-soluble core that is enclosed in a water-soluble shell. The body knows micelles well, as it produces them itself in order to absorb fat-soluble substances. However, the NovaSOL® curcumin micelle is not only important for protecting the turmeric extract from other influences, but also for stability and rapid absorption in the intestine. They therefore ensure up to 185 times higher bioavailability and 7 times faster absorption than conventional curcumin products.
