This food supplement contains the medicinal mushroom Auricularia combined with vitamin C (Ester-C®). Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal blood vessel and skin function.

Auricularia (Auricularia auricula) refers to mushrooms from the auricularia genus. The Judas ear (Auricularia auricula-judae), also known as black fungus, elder mushroom or Mu-Err, is a common edible mushroom worldwide, which is particularly popular in China. It contains various vital substances, glycoproteins and polysaccharides. The extract contains high quantities of valuable beta-glucans. In traditional Chinese nutritional science, it is considered to be yin-strengthening. Auricularia extract also contains vitamin C (Ester-C®) with its many properties - in particular as a contribution to normal collagen formation for normal blood vessel function.

The special Ester-C® contains no free acid and is therefore considered to be better tolerated.
