The medicinal mushroom Auricularia (Judas ear, Mu-Err, Auricularia auricula-judae) has its origins in Asia and has enjoyed great popularity in traditional Chinese nutrition and Asian cuisine for over 1,500 years. It is rich in valuable vital substances, including bioactive substances such as polysaccharides, beta-glucans, proteins and glycoproteins.

Particularly high-quality organic Auricularia extract comes from certified organic cultivation and therefore fulfils criteria of the highest purity, quality and sustainability. The extract is standardised to a particularly high content of valuable ingredients - 30% polysaccharides and 20% beta-glucans.

Vitamin C ideally complements the properties of Auricularia. It supports normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels and the skin. It also helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress.

The vitamin C comes from organically grown amla berries. Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica), is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C with a high natural content of vitamin C, polyphenols, flavonoids and antioxidants. The BIO Amla extract is standardised to 50% vitamin C and, according to current research, is particularly characterised by its sustained bioavailability and good tolerability - it is a suitable source of vitamin C for people with a sensitive stomach or histamine sensitivity.
