Revamil hydrophilic wound gelThe Revamil hydrophilic wound gel consists of 100% pure medical honey with a high enzyme content and low pH value.
The long-term release of hydrogen peroxide in small quantities makes the gel particularly suitable for chronic and infected wounds. One tube of Revamil® hydrophilic wound gel contains 18 grams of gamm sterilised honey. Several treatments are possible with one tube.
Revamil is a wound gel made from pure honey produced under controlled conditions. This controlled production process of Revamil guarantees reproducible quality and no residual pesticides. The honey used for Revamil has a high content of honey enzymes, including glucose oxidase. Due to the high concentration of sugar, part of the wound fluid mixes with Revamil and forms a reinforcing, antibacterial protective layer of the wound dressing.
