POSIFORLID COMOD® eye drops - For use on the eye in cases of inflammation. Has an anti-inflammatory and soothing effect, e.g. for acute inflammation of the eyelid margin.
Eye irritation - an ongoing issue Sometimes our eyes react very sensitively to disturbing influences from the environment. Dry, dusty or smoky indoor air, intense sunlight or even pathogens in the form of bacteria or viruses can be the cause of inflammatory processes on the eyelids or conjunctiva. Regardless of the trigger for the inflammation, the affected tissue practically always reacts with the same symptoms. In addition to reddening of the inflamed area, there is also swelling. The defence measures that take place in our body and the resulting stimulated metabolism lead to warming of the inflamed mucous membranes. Effective anti-inflammation with the ingredient in willow bark Willow bark contains an active ingredient whose anti-inflammatory effect has been relied upon in medicine for more than 100 years - salicylic acid. Its effectiveness in alleviating inflammatory processes is based on interrupting the formation of the body's own messenger substances, which are responsible for triggering and maintaining inflammation. In the same way, the formation of certain pain substances is prevented, which patients experience as a soothing relief of their symptoms. The anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect of this natural substance is ideally complemented by its mild antibiotic effect. Local treatment with salicylic acid thus provides effective protection against unwanted concomitant infections caused by bacteria or fungi. Excellent tolerability due to localised effect When salicylic acid is used as eye drops, the anti-inflammatory effect remains limited to the site of the disease. Due to its chemical structure and the associated physical properties, salicylic acid is practically not absorbed into the bloodstream. Eye drops - intensive anti-inflammatory action on the move and at home URSAPHARM provides those affected with the anti-inflammatory effect of salicylic acid in the form of eye drops. The eye drops enable continuous treatment of eyelid margin and conjunctival inflammation throughout the day - at work and on the move. Indications: Symptomatic therapy for eyelid margin inflammation (blepharitis), non-specific conjunctivitis, irritation caused by dust, smoke and sun. For infectious diseases, not without adequate accompanying anti-infective therapy.

How to use
Eye drops should always be used in such a way that contact of the dropper tip with the eye or facial skin is avoided. Wash your hands. Image 1: Take a clean tissue and gently remove the tear fluid from the lower edge of the eyelid. Image 2: Remove the cap before each use. Before using POSIFORLID COMOD® for the first time, please hold the bottle with the dropper tip pointing vertically downwards and press the bottom of the bottle repeatedly until the first drop emerges from the tip of the bottle. The bottle is then ready for use for the following applications. Image 3: Hold the bottle with the dropper tip pointing downwards by placing your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and the other fingers on the base of the bottle. Image 4: Support the hand with the COMOD® bottle on your free hand as shown. Image 5: Lean your head back slightly, pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye with your free hand and press quickly and firmly in the centre of the bottle on the base of the bottle. This activates the mechanism for removing a drop. Due to the special valve technology of the COMOD® system, the size and speed of the drop is always the same, even with very strong pressure on the base of the bottle. Avoid contact of the dropper tip with the eye or facial skin when dripping. Close your eyes slowly so that the liquid can spread evenly over the surface of the eye. Fig. 6: Release the lower eyelid and press lightly against the nose from the corner of the eye (see Fig. 6). While holding your finger against your nose, blink slowly several times to spread the drop over the eyeball. Then remove any excess eye drops. Image 7: After use, close the dropper tip carefully with the cap immediately. Please ensure that the dropper tip is dry. Repeat the process for the other eye.
